Shokugeki no Souma

Shokugeki no Soma tells the story of a child named Sōma Yukihira, whose dream is to become a full time cook in his father's neighborhood dining establishment and exceed his father's cooking abilities.

 Yet equally as Sōma graduates from intermediate school, his father, Jōichirō Yukihira, gets a brand-new job that requires him to travel around the globe and shuts his shop. However, Sōma's dealing with spirit is revived by a challenge from Jōichirō which is to survive in an exclusive culinary college where only 10% of the trainees manage to graduate, where he satisfies many remarkable trainees as well as experiences brand-new events that permit him to grow additional in the direction of his goal.
